Started as a non-for-profit organization in 1973, by Dr. Norman S. Coplon, Satellite Dialysis quickly became a pioneer in renal care, conducting clinical research and emphasizing a patient centered approach to managing chronic kidney disease.

In 2003, we launched Satellite WellBound the first dialysis service focused exclusively on supporting the full spectrum of self-care dialysis therapies outside the dialysis in-center.

We are known as the medical industry leader and architect of new approaches to treatment of kidney disease. We have best-in-class clinical management practices and superior outcomes that are a result of our physicians and medical staff. Satellite Healthcare has built a model organization united by a common vision to innovate and deliver effective, compassionate renal care.

Satellite Research generously supports promising researchers at leading academic centers throughout the nation and Satellite Philanthropy provides nursing scholarships, Norman S. Coplon Extramural Grants, financial assistance programs for patients and supports the National Kidney Foundation and American Kidney Fund.

Satellite Healthcare works with nephrologists in joint venture partnerships, making superior kidney disease services and technologies available to patients and physicians across the nation.
