Recipe: Broiled Garlic Peel-and-Eat Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. raw shrimp, shells on
  • 1 cup unsalted margarine, melted
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove minced garlic

Directions:

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Wash and dry shrimp. Pour margarine in a shallow baking pan and add lemon juice, onion, garlic and pepper. Add shrimp; toss to coat.
  3. Broil 5 minutes. Turn shrimp and broil for 5 more minutes. Serve on platter with strained pan juices and sprinkle with parsley.
