Recipe: Bow-Tie Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. cooked bow-tie pasta (farfalle)
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. shredded carrot
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh-squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

Mix pasta, celery, bell pepper, carrot and onion in a bowl. In a separate small bowl, blend black pepper, mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Pour over pasta and vegetables and mix until well coated. Chill and serve.
