Satellite Healthcare Names Dave Carter to New COO Position

SAN JOSE, CA – December 4, 2014 – — Satellite Healthcare, the 7th largest dialysis provider in the US and among the nation's leading not-for-profit providers of kidney dialysis and related services, announced today that Dave Carter has been named Chief Operations Officer, effective December 4.

In the role, created under new President and Chief Executive Officer Rick Barnett, Carter will lead the organization's key operational functions and work to fully integrate and coordinate Satellite's many programs and services. He brings with him extensive healthcare experience, most recently as Midwest Region President of Nashville, Tenn.-based SpecialtyCare. In previous roles, he was responsible for 53 dialysis centers as a Regional Vice President of the Renal Care Group (RCG) and oversaw 209 dialysis centers as Senior Group Vice President of Fresenius.

Carter, who will relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area from Indianapolis, holds a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
