Satellite Healthcare Researchers to Present at 28th Annual Dialysis Conference

Leading Kidney Disease Researchers to Speak on Home vs. Center Dialysis, Nutrition and Cardiovascular Disease

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, February 20, 2008 – Satellite Healthcare, Inc., a leader in the field of kidney disease services and research, announced that several of its internationally respected researchers will present at the 28th Annual Dialysis Conference in Orlando, Florida, March 2-4.

Among the speakers are:

John Moran, MB, BS, Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Satellite Healthcare and WellBound.  Dr. Moran is a kidney disease expert with more than 30 years of academic research and clinical trial experience.  He will speak on the increasing popularity and improved clinical outcomes of home dialysis.

Brigitte Schiller, MD, Vice President for Scientific Affairs for Satellite Healthcare and Clinical Director for Satellite Laboratory Services.  Dr. Schiller leads internal and contract research as well as providing clinical leadership for Satellite Laboratory Services.  She will speak on End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Laboratory Monitoring and the advantages of using a lab that specializes in kidney disease testing.

Linda McCann, RD, Director of Clinical Systems and Nutrition for Satellite Healthcare.  Ms. McCann is one of the most respected renal dietitians in the nation, and she is responsible for all nutrition services for all divisions of Satellite Healthcare.  She will speak on achieving nutritional targets and bone management protocols.

Sheila Doss, RN, CNN, Nursing Director of Research and Development for Satellite Healthcare.  Ms. Doss will present findings of her study of the nursing implications of center-based daily dialysis and home nocturnal hemodialysis.
