Satellite Healthcare to Present at the 30th Annual Dialysis Conference

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, March 3, 2010 - Satellite Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation's first and largest not for profit providers of kidney dialysis services and a major sponsor of nephrology research, today announced that several of its internationally respected medical staff will present at the 30th Annual Dialysis Conference in Seattle, Washington on March 7-9. In addition to the presentations, Satellite Healthcare/ WellBound will be exhibiting at booth numbers 1 & 2 at the conference.

Satellite's presenters will make oral and poster presentations on a variety of subjects like Vitamin D Deficiency in CKD; Daily Home Dialysis Improves Sleep from the FREEDOM study, to Hyponatremia in Chronic Kidney Disease patients.

Satellite Healthcare speakers include:

Brigitte Schiller, MD, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Acting Chief Medical Officer for Satellite Healthcare and Clinical Director for Satellite Laboratory Services. Dr. Schiller will give four oral presentations on Monday, March 8th.

Sheila Doss, RN, CNN, Nursing Director of Research for Satellite Healthcare. Ms. Doss will make two oral presentation, the first one on Vitamin D Deficiency in CKD on Sunday, March 7th and the second on CKD Education and Modality Choices, Monday, March 8th.

Linda McCann, RD, CSR, Senior Director of Quality for Satellite Healthcare. Ms. McCann will make two oral presentations, the first on KDIGO Guidelines, Sunday, March 7th and the second on Novel Ways to Improve Albumin Levels, Tuesday, March 9th.

Jair Munoz-Mendoza, MD, Fellow with Satellite Healthcare Research. Dr. Munoz-Mendoza will speak at the Fellows-Forum on Monday, March 8th on Hyponatremia in an APD patient.
