Satellite Healthcare Appoints New Senior Vice President of Business Development

Mountain View, CA, August 8, 2006 – Satellite Healthcare, Inc., a leader in the field of kidney disease, today announced the appointment of Sergio O. Fernandez to the position of senior vice president of business development and a member of the company’s executive team. Mr. Fernandez will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all business development efforts for Satellite Healthcare’s two dialysis provider subsidiaries: Satellite Dialysis, which is focused on in-center hemodialysis; and WellBound, which is exclusively focused on self-care dialysis therapies.

Mr. Fernandez brings to Satellite Healthcare more than twenty years of sales and marketing experience, as well as P&L management in the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as vice president of U.S. sales and a member of the senior management team of Baxter Healthcare’s U.S. renal business. Mr. Fernandez has also held various sales positions with Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. He received his bachelor of science degree in marketing from Rutgers University.
