Latest WellBound Self-Care Dialysis Center Opens in New Jersey

WellBound of Mercer is State’s First Free-Standing Center
Exclusively Offering Home Dialysis Training

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, August 29, 2008 – WellBound, the first company focused exclusively on providing pre-dialysis wellness education and supporting the full spectrum of self-care dialysis therapies, today announced the official opening of WellBound of Mercer, its first center in the state of New Jersey. Located in north central New Jersey, this “Center of Excellence” will support nephrologists from surrounding communities in providing chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients early stage wellness information as well as innovative self-care dialysis therapies. This new center, the thirteenth WellBound center overall, is the first WellBound free-standing home dialysis program in New Jersey to offer patients training for home dialysis therapies such as home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Additionally, the company will offer patients individualized self-care information, while also providing them with innovative CKD wellness information on topics including controlling blood pressure, stress management, exercise, nutrition, decreasing risks of cardiovascular disease and diabetes care.
