
Recipe: Chili con Carne

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 6 oz. no-salt tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. paprika
- 1 qt. water
Directions:
In a large pot, brown the ground beef, then drain fat. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until onion is transparent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 ½ hours. Before serving, measure chili and add additional water to make 5 cups. Heat through.
