Recipe: Flavored Spreads
3 ½ Tbsp. unsalted olive- or sunflower-oil-based margarine
Ideas for additions
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
zest and juice of ½ lemon
½ fresh red chili, seeded and diced
zest and juice of ½ lime
Leave margarine at room temperature for 15 minutes. Place in a small bowl, add your choice of flavors and blend well. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Serve in a small dish or spread on bread, vegetables, grilled meat or fish.
