Ingedients:
- 1 1/3 cup (8 oz) dry orzo pasta
- 3 quarts water
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. Italian seasoning (blend of marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano and basil)
- 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Bring the water to a rolling boil. Add orzo to water and stir. Return to a boil and cook, uncovered, 9 – 11 minutes. For best results, avoid overcooking. Remove from heat and drain well in colander. Transfer orzo to a serving bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese and toss gently.
