Satellite Healthcare Appoints Marsha Dodd as Chief Business Integration and Strategic Relationship Officer
October 16, 2015 — SAN JOSE, CA —Satellite Healthcare, a leading national not-for-profit and the 7th largest provider of patient-centered dialysis and kidney disease services, announced today it has appointed Marsha Dodd to the newly created position of Chief Business Integration and Strategic Relationship Officer.
Dodd, who joined Satellite Healthcare in March 2015 as Vice President of Value Based Care, brings more than 25 years of management experience to her new position. In her expanded executive role, she will develop and lead the Business Integration Team and initiatives for the transition of new business ventures with integrated health systems, medical groups, and health plans entering into strategic business partnerships with Satellite Healthcare. Dodd will also be responsible for coordinating and integrating the efforts of the organization’s Improvement Council and Innovation Council. The Councils will be charged with continually enhancing the quality of care delivered to Satellite Healthcare’s 6,800 patients and innovating new and expanded models of care, services, and initiatives.

Prior to joining Satellite Healthcare, Dodd most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Development & Hospital Services at DaVita HealthCare Partners, where she was responsible for establishing partnerships and strategic alliances with health systems, hospitals, physicians, and integrated care systems. Previously, she served as Vice President, Enterprise Business Development at InSight Health Corp.; Vice President, Business Development at HealthSouth; and Vice President, Corporate Development at Alliance HealthCare Services.

Dodd holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Management and Organizational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. She is active in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and her professional training includes the Harvard School of Business Mergers & Acquisitions Workshop Series, the GE Healthcare Business Development & Finance series, mediation training at UC Irvine, and Organizational Change study at UC Berkeley.
