Join the World Kidney Day Celebration
World Kidney Day falls on the second Thursday of March every year and has participants in over 150 countries. The goal is to spread awareness and education about kidney health and disease prevention. Whether someone has been diagnosed with kidney disease, works in healthcare, or is simply a caring supporter, there are a number of ways each can participate in World Kidney Day.
Donate to Make a Difference
Part of the goal of World Kidney Day is to increase awareness about kidney health. Paying educators and funding community health projects related to kidney health takes precious monetary resources. We can help education efforts through a donation, of any amount, to your favorite Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) nonprofit.
Learn More About Living a Better Life
If you live with CKD, the best way to celebrate the day is by learning more about the cause, prevention, and care. At Satellite Healthcare, we have a wealth of educational resources that can assist you in better learning about CKD.
Prevention is an important part of World Kidney Day. The National Kidney Foundation's Kidney Early Evaluation Program, also known as KEEP, offers free evaluations throughout the United States. Click here for a list of upcoming KEEP screenings near you.
